The purpose of the award is to encourage UNSW medical students to undertake an ILP (Independent

Learning Project) relevant to Indigenous health. All medical students must complete an ILP as part of their

medicine degree at UNSW. The ILP is intended to provide students with a period of in-depth study that

engenders an approach to medicine that is constantly questioning and self critical.

Eligibility criteria

General information

The scholarship is open to all medical students undertaking an IPL in the field of Indigenous health.

Selection is based on academic merit, extracurricular achievements and any relevant contributions to this

area. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
