The applicant will actively contribute to the functional analysis of microarray and proteomics data in close collaboration with the scientists of the lab. Knowledge in using GenePix Pro and Decyder softwares will be considered as an advantage.
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in statistics and programming in different programming languages including R, Perl, Python. The candidate should have a strong experience in using software tools for functional analysis based on Gene Ontology, KEGG pathway and TFBS motif enrichment analysis. Further more a good biological background related to the lab’s research topics is required for the interpretation of the transcriptomics and proteomics data in close collaboration with the researchers of the lab.
The person will also be in charge of maintaining the lab’s website and local network. Knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver software is considered as an asset.
Candidates should have at least a Master degree in bioinformatics or related. Good communication and writing skills are required. The lab’s working language is English.
