Overview Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) 2012 in Africa provide opportunities for people from selected countries to undertake Post-graduate diploma or Masters degree programs in Australia. Overview With a view to promoting human resource capacities in the developing countries and to enhancing international understanding and friendship among nations and the people of Poland, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the International Institute of the Polish Academy of Science/European Regional Centre of Ecohydrology under the auspice of UNESCO and University of Lodz, are placing at the disposal of UNESCO two (2) fellowships of a six months duration starting in April 2011 for the benefit of Member States listed in Annex I. Beneficiaries of these fellowships will be given the opportunity to undertake an individual research programme in the field of Ecohydrology. Overview The scholarships are offered in partnership with Canon Collins Trust and Universidad.es Prospective candidates should note that these scholarships are available only to women who •are nationals of and resident in one of the following countries: Angola, Botswana, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe •hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent sufficient to gain entry to a Spanish University •speak Spanish to intermediate EDEL level or are willing to undertake a 6 month course of study in Spanish as a foreign language, beginning April 2011. The full commitment will therefore be from April 2011 to July 2012. Candidates should: be nationals of and have their permanent residence in one of the country’s listed, have a good command of the English language, be in good health so health insurance in the Netherlands can be arranged, be available for the whole period of the fellowship and be able to take part in the entire study programme, have no other means of financing the study in question.
