The University of Cyprus announces the granting of 25 scholarships for postgraduate Master’s degrees and PhD in the academic year 2011/2012.

Scholarship Description: The scholarships are for postgraduate courses (beginning study in September 2011) and their aim is to develop and strengthen the relations and cooperation of the University of Cyprus with the Cypriots expatriates and to attract a large number of foreign students. The scholarships cover all the fields of study and are addressed to Cypriots expatriates and to foreign nationals (from non EU countries).
1. Five (5) out of the 25 scholarships will be allocated to Cypriot applicants who are permanent residents of Australia in order to strengthen the cooperation with the Australian Homogeny.
2. Three (3) out of the 25 scholarships will be granted to students from the University of Gjirokastra (Argyrokastro) – Albania.
3. One (1) scholarship will be granted for strengthening the Orthodox Teachers College in Kenya.
4. The other sixteen (16) scholarships will be allocated to Cypriot applicants who are permanent residents in foreign countries and to foreign nationals from non EU countries.
