We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with a PhD in Life Science. The most likely successful candidate has excellent previous experience in molecular and cellular biology, as well as documented experience in working with laboratory animals and the accompanying legislation. Importantly, the candidate must be able to plan and execute the research independently. Good communication skills in English are compulsory.

Scholarship Description: Our group is working on the characterization of SET domain proteins in differentiation and disease. Projects in the lab relates to our on-going efforts to understand how deregulation of chromatin modifiers and non-coding RNA contribute to tumorigenesis. The postdoc will be part of a team focused on the function of the PRDMs. The project will involve a detailed characterization of target genes in specified cell types, identification of interaction partners and characterization of the in vivo function by use of mouse The position is for 2 years, starting as soon as possible. Salary, supplement, pension and terms of employment follow the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central Organization. Currently, the monthly postdoc salary begins around 31.400 DKK or ca. 4.200 Euro plus pension. Depending on qualifications, a higher salary may be negotiated. Non-Danish and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reduction, if they have not lived in Denmark the last 10 years.
