Professor in Commercial Law in the Department of Law

Applicants should have a distinguished research and teaching profile and an established international reputation comparable to Professors in the best international law schools in the field of commercial law (including sale of goods, agency, personal property, credit and security, corporate law, and securities). The appointee should be able to provide strong academic leadership in the field of commercial and corporate law, promote and develop the Faculty’s existing research strengths in these fields, and foster research collaboration and initiatives in Hong Kong and regionally.

Highly competitive salaries, commensurate with experience and academic stature, will be offered to the successful candidates. Remuneration packages also include a contract-end gratuity of 15% of salary (inclusive of the University’s contribution to a retirement scheme), housing accommodation, annual leave, professional leave, sabbatical leave and medical/dental benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
