Based at one of our regional Industrial Training Centers (ITC), you’ll instruct trainees at all levels, advise other instructors and act as a subject-matter expert in the development, implementation and evaluation of curricula. Conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback to teachers and, occasionally, teaching high-level technical courses will also be key aspects of your role.
You will either be degree qualified in industrial/vocational education or engineering with at least four years’ relevant industrial experience or an Instrument Technician with 10 years’ experience, maintaining process control systems in the oil and gas industry. Specifically, your experience should include working with DCS (Yologawa, Honeywell TDC 3000/Foxboro/Delta V) and PLC (Triconex/Siemens/Allen Bradley/Bristol Babcock). You should also have the ability to maintain compressor controls, turbine controls, foundation field bus and plant wide networks and be familiar with Pneumatic, Electronic and Digital Instrumentation in the oil and gas industry and troubleshooting process control systems. college education
