Description

The purpose of the scholarship is to increase the number of graduates in science qualified to work on

restoring and rehabilitating damaged ecosystems, by encouraging and assisting meritorious students for

whom education opportunities are limited because of education and/or financial disadvantage, to

undertake a Bachelor of Science specializing in restoration ecology.

Duration and Value

Duration: 3.0 years

Extra Details: The value of the scholarship is equivalent to the full upfront payment of the Student

Contribution Fee for the first year, and half the contribution fee in the second and third years. It may be

taken as part of the course fee or as a cash payment.

Eligibility criteria

General information

The scholarship is open to students enrolled, or enrolling, in the Bachelor of Science in Restoration

Ecology, or a Bachelor of Science with a major in restoration ecology, at the UWA Albany Centre.

Preference will be given to students in financial hardship or other educational disadvantage.
