Description

The late Dr J J Woodward (MBBS 1935) was a graduate of the University of Melbourne Medical School

who had a lifelong interest in rural and environmental issues. His family has established this prize in his

Eligibility criteria

General information

The award is open to students in the second or later year of undergraduate courses in agriculture,

resource management, forestry or horticulture, undertaking a sequence of subjects which focus on

preservation of the environment, especially in the field of Australian flora, and who will further their

studies in this area on a fulltime basis during the following year of their undergraduate course. Selection is

based on financial need.
