Scholarship Description: We are looking for motivated and productive postdoctoral fellow, fungal genome evolution, including lateral gene transfer, with comparative data and novel computational genome analysis. The successful candidate will have a scope to take his own research program within the boundaries of the Group’s larger research agenda, but will also engage with ongoing collaborative research projects. This position requires sound quantitative computational skills in next generation sequencing and bioinformatics, preferably including some background information (basic) in scripting or programming. Training in mushroom biology and genetics can be specified as required, candidates and non-standard research backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
