A postdoctoral position is immediately (June 1 2010) available at the Physics Department of University of South Florida. The initial contract is for one year renewable for the second year based on performance, and possibly the third year on funding availability. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits are included. The successful candidate will join Dr. Xiaomei Jiang’s Nanostructure Optoelectronics Lab and take a lead role in a research project in the development of Flexible Power Foil for building integrated photovoltaic applications.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science, and/or Engineering with a strong background in photovoltaic research and organic electronic materials, ideally with extensive experience in polymeric solar cell fabrication and characterization. The successful candidate should have the ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team. Excellence in written and oral communication in English is desirable.
