The MRC Virology Unit has formed a partnership with the University of Glasgow to create the Centre for Virus Research (CVR), a major new UK research establishment in Glasgow.

As part of the Medical Research Council’s translational initiative “Developmental Pathway Funding Scheme (DPFS)”, the MRC Virology Unit has an opportunity for a Research Project Support Assistant to join one of our research teams.

A BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject is essential.  Starting salary for this Band 5 post will be around £20,074 per annum, depending on experience.  We offer excellent training, a generous holiday entitlement (6 weeks’ annual leave and 10.5 days’ public holidays) and an excellent Pension Scheme.
