Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Professor of Public Health & Epidemiology, Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Applicants should be medical graduates with a postgraduate qualification in Public Health/ Epidemiology (MSc, MPH and /or PhD), with training and experience in health planning, public health leadership, grant writing and project development. Experience and skills in public health and research, and a track record of grant awards and of peer-reviewed publications are essential, and knowledge/experience of the Caribbean or similar environments will be a distinct advantage.
The appointee will be required to advance the expansion of public health as an academic discipline in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and lead in the training of public health leaders for the Caribbean, through:
