Web App Entwickler (m/w)

In unserem erfahrenen und international aufgestellten Team helfen Sie mit, interaktive und multimediale Inhalte für mobile Geräte wie das iPad zu entwickeln.

Ihre Aufgaben:

Implementieren von neusten, reichhaltigen Web Applikationen (WebKit Engine)
Interaktion mit Graphikdesignern, Applikationsentwicklern und Kunden für die erfolgreiche Umsetzung der iinteraktiven Designs
Mitwirken beim Design und der Usability von mobilen UIs
Je nach Profil auch Softwareentwicklung auf mobilen Plattformen (iPad/iPhone, Android)

Erfahrung und Expertise

Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Bereich HTML5/CSS3
Gute Kenntnisse in JavaScript und Erfahrung mit einem oder mehreren JS--Framework(s) wie MooTools, jQuery, Dojo, SproutCore oder Cappuccino
Solide Grundkenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung, Erfahrung mit Versionierungstools (SVN, git) und Kenntnisse in C++ (Qt), Objective--C oder Java sind hilfreich
Ihr praktisches Können ist wichtiger als Diplome, Titel und Erfahrung

Web Application Engineer

Help us build a powerful set of tools to create and manage rich interactive content for desktop and mobile devices. Be part of a small international team and work at an exciting startup near Zurich. Responsibilities will be broad and tailored to the skills and passions of the candidate, and will include the following:

Responsibilities:

Take the lead role in implementing a new class of rich web applications
Interface with the design team to bring their user experience designs to life
Target a specific browser engine, WebKit, to push its limits and make rich applications
Visual design of content
Take part in design development and usability of mobile UIs
Depending on profile, also software development on mobile platforms (iPad/iPhone, Android)

Skills and Experience:

The number of years of experience you have is not as important as your skills
Experience with HTML5-related technologies
Excellent Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 animation technologies
Really strong JavaScript proficiency and some experience with one or more JS frameworks like MooTools, jQuery, Dojo, SproutCore, or Cappuccino
Good typography and page layout skills
Experience with illustration, icon design, and/or animation
Basic knowledge in software development, experience with versioning tools (SVN, git) and knowledge in C++ (Qt), Objective-C or Java would be a plus

Although this position is viewed as an individual contributor role, the company is growing, and we’d consider people with the experience to grow into management roles, too.
